"Hood Disease" is a Reversed Euphemism CTSD is Reality

A report recently released by the Center for Disease Control estimated about 30 percent of inner city children are affected by post-traumatic stress disorder, an illness commonly associated with soldiers who have returned home from war.

It begins with an infected set of economics. Low-income jobs lead to low-income-areas. Poor housing is correlative to deficient nutrition and sub-par education. Inadequate education is a direct link to crime and other oppressive social ills. Together these circumstances set up a real life stage not too different from a field of military conflict. Read More
