Steve Harvey's Belly Water Drink Recipe


Steve Harvey of The Steve Harvey Show swears this drink will make you feel better daily. I'll follow up on this post with a review of my results.

Ingredients

- 6 cups of filtered water
- 1 Sliced Cucumber
- 1 Sliced Lemon
- 1 Tablespoon fresh grated ginger
- 3/4 cup of mint leaves

Combine the ingredients and let it sit over night, then drink it throughout the next day.

The ingredients are definitely good things to get you going. Ginger helps with digestion and is famous for keeping nausea at bay. Lemon helps to detoxify on a cellular level and pushes the gunk out. Mint helps reduce appetite and bloating (that’s huge). Cucumber also helps to detoxify the body, particularly through the liver and kidneys. This creates better fat metabolism.

  1. I made a batch of this and it is refreshing when you drink it. The mint and ginger has the zinging cooling effect that carbonation gives soft drinks. It tastes like a mild lemonade. I'll follow-up with any long term health benefits that I encounter. While not a huge Steve Harvey fan , I think he and Dr. Oz maybe on to something here.
