July 3rd, 2104 (S2N Media) When it comes to President Barack Obama, House Speaker John Boehner has one word; NO. It doesn't matter what the issue is; if Barack Obama wants or needs it Boehner is going to find a way to say NO.
Boehner's latest no prompted President Obama to pursue unilateral action to revamp American immigration policies after being told by Speaker John Boehner that House Republicans will not pass legislation addressing the issue this year.
What's getting more frustrating about Boehner is he increasingly engages in double talk and gamesmanship that lengthens any process that needs to be completed. The President is always diplomatic with Boehner, extending him patience, and consideration that Boehner definitely hasn't earned or deserves.
We all no what your answer is going be Boehner, so spare us the BS. Just say no and let the President keep it moving. And as Barack Obama has illustrated he will keep it moving Mr. Boehner.
“While I will continue to push House Republicans to drop the excuses and act and I hope their constituents will too, America cannot wait forever for them to act,” Obama said from the Rose Garden. “That’s why today I’m beginning a new effort to fix as much of our immigration system as I can on my own without Congress.” - Barack Obama
This timeline chronicling Boehner's long drawn out shuck and jiving, smoke and mirrors, song and dance, on immigration reform that culminated with his ---you guessed it NO is indicative of his position on any policy the President endorses.
Support staff of any company reflects the personality of leadership. No wonder this Congress has been labeled the "Do Nothing Congress".
