Turkey Official Admonishes Women For Laughing in Public

"The woman should have chastity ... She should not laugh in front of everyone and not be inviting in her behaviour. She should protect her honour." - Bulent Arinc,
Turkey Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc, is one of the co-founders of Turkey Prime Minister and elected presidential hopeful Tayyip Erdogan's AK Party. Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan's government has been accused of ruling in an increasingly authoritarian manner and involving themselves in people's private lives. The Prime Minister's governing style has long been a source of conflict between the country's secularists and Erdogan's conservative supporters.

The Deputy Prime Minister missed the memo every man received decades ago regarding messing with women about something utterly stupid. It was a three word memo-Don't Do it.

The Turkish women responded to this dim-witted collection of words from the Deputy Prime Minister by , well, laughing at him. Hundreds of Turkish women even took to Twitter posting pictures of themselves laughing.
One woman's group obliged the Deputy Prime Minister. They weren't laughing-at his absurdness. They say they are considering filing a criminal complaint against the Deputy PM. One would think a deputy head of state would have more pressing matters to ponder.
